Before sending your money to your favorite relief organization, you may want to check out web sites I found a place that evaluates charities. Two sites that I know of is GuideStar ( and Charity Navigator ( If you don’t have a favorite charity, and you’d like to give money online to these orgs, you might try they’re a “clearing house” of sorts for charity donations and they don’t keep your money.

The best pages use small elegant graphics against a most unobtrusive background (white, for example!) and present the information so that it’s easy to find. Additionally, don’t overload the eyes either with color or too much stuff in too small a space. White space rules!   • Danny, a young man who recently made Eagle scout has stage one melanoma. Please keep him in prayer while he undergoes medical treatment (chemo/radiation). Keep his family in prayer in hopes that they recognize the Great Physician! (long term)
